These earrings are absolute stunners! Beautiful medium pink coral, an organic gem, is carved in pleasing proportions, with round posts and well matched, wide drop elements. The earrings are held in 14 karat settings with the drops having a resemblance to sepals - the leaves that cover an emerging flower bud. The most pleasing shade of pink, the coral has some natural striations (banding) which this gem is known for. The lapidary artist who carved these took care to orient the front of the drops (which have a slightly greater curve than the back side of the drops) to the side with the most even coloring. These earrings come complete with 14k friction backs.
